He knows that pain makes you stronger…
Wolf isn’t always a good person, and he doesn’t hesitate to say what’s on his mind.
He is who he is, and he doesn’t offer apologies.
He isn’t out to impress anyone, and he doesn’t make excuses for his actions.
She knows that fear makes you braver…
Raven has made some bad decisions, and she’d give anything to go back in time and choose a different path.
The reality is that she can’t go back, and the day Wolf walks into her life, she finally realizes that maybe she doesn’t want to.
Wolf is everything she’s ever wanted, and the exact opposite of what she needs.
They both know heartbreak makes you wiser…
Wolf knows that this is not a good idea. There are a million reasons—all of them bad—telling him exactly why he should stay away.
But when Raven’s nightmares burst out of her dreams and into her reality, he doesn’t have a choice anymore.
He has to protect her, while somehow protecting his battered heart.

Raven and Wolf.

:sighs:

I just knew that these two would test my patience. There are so many delicious tidbits and goodies in this book. Not all of them are good, but while reading this book I swear I could see it being adapted into a movie. I could also see the Hail brothers getting a spin-off reality show ;) I can see it now Hail Auto Recovery and 60 seconds worth of hot shots of these two brothers. :sighs: All joking aside this book had enough action, sex, emotion, and tension to most definitely become a movie.

I was rooting for Raven from the start. Life seemed to be continually punching her in the vajayjay. And then to find someone you're into and they're seeing someone else....

Cue the angst. Its too much. Or is it? The road to each other is not a straight one and we learn so much about Wolf and Raven and the Hail brothers along the way. For example, we find out why Wolf and the Hail brothers do NOT get along.

I love that LLV throws a curve ball into the mix in her books. I've said it before and I'll say it again - its not a cut and dry man and woman get together and try to find their way in a relationship. Nope! There is so much more going on. Wolf has issues. If you recall, he lost his wife and child and has adopted the child of his deceased best friend. What a back story! Raven has issues. She is known for making bad choices in men. Case in point Jensen and how she was held as a love slave against her will.

If you want a good read - grab some popcorn, a soda and press Buy for this book.

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.
