One would think after being a Lani Lynn Vale fan for so long that I would be used to her coming for me and my emotions, but the awesome thing about LLV is - she doesn't come for you the same way EVERY TIME. It's as if she sends out a survey to find out what get's to you the most -- you like lovable valiant dogs - that's cool, you like cute little kids - that's cool, how do you feel about friends that are like siblings --awesome, you love being in love - that's great. Fast forward a bit and she drops her newest release.....
BOOM!

Tai is every bit as sexy as we thought he would be. LLV has also further introduced us to another set of delicious firemen to look out for in her future releases. This book is NOTHING like what I expected. Mia is a desperate mom and Tai is the answer. It is incredibly awesome and amazing that Tai is willing to be the answer. Now I think its important to know that just because Tai is willing to be the answer doesn't mean Tai, Mia and her son will walk off into the sunset.
Among the many things I love about LLV's writing is her ability to snatch your soul and your interest at the same damn time.
I'm angry. I'm sad. I'm shocked. I'm surprised. I'm crying. I am everything and its all because of LANI.LYNN.VALE.
Out of all of LLV's books and the other tragedies and heartbreak included I have to say that this one definitely makes the top 5. I didn't know where Mia and Tai would go after LIFE HAPPENED, but I knew I wanted to ride with them. I couldn't put my Kindle Fire down. I had to know how they would find their way to 1 again. Let me tell you ---their journey back to one was so involved so shocking so emotionally charged you'll literally feel like you were sitting on their shoulders.
