What’s wrong with my butt?
She means those words to be directed toward the woman beside her, not him. But he can’t stop himself
from answering. Not when her ass is the most magnificent thing he’s seen in his life.
Apparently, answering her with ‘not a damn thing’ wasn’t what she was expecting.
She likely wasn’t expecting the baseball she took to the face at his next at bat, either.
All it takes is one ill-fated foul ball, and George Hoffman, Lumberjacks center fielder, falls head over
heels in love with Wrigley Field—and yes, that is her real name.
From that point forward, George and Wrigley fall into a fast whirlwind love that ends with them eloping
to Vegas. And he has his potty mouth, titty bar owning, pain in the ass grandmother to thank for it.
Not that he’s complaining or anything.
Who wouldn’t want to be married to a woman that made his heart race like he was in the final game of
the World Series?
The only problem is trying to convince her of that.
I didn't know what to expect when I started this book, but I do know that by the end of the first page I knew I was going to finish it that same day. But before I start on my opinion on this book can we just stop and appreciate the name of the book. I mean, seriously, what better title could there be.

So the book starts off at a major league baseball game that Wrigley and her sister Diamond are attending wherein which we are introduced to George. The two meet when he literally lays her out with a flyball.

After this run in how could they not get together and fall in love. And they did. These two went from 0 to 100 - real quick. It was so cute how they started dating ->got married ->got pregnant. Your head will literally spin.

However, I knew that this love cloud they were on would not last long. I just didn't know how. Well, Wrigley has two siblings and one is a POS and one is pretty cool. Unfortunately, one of them flips out and Wrigley takes their side instead of George's. Suddenly, the two are no longer together and the word divorce is the result. Another literal head spin.

It was so sad to see how much this couple still loved each other, but because of a misguided sense of family loyalty and a lack of communication they split up. At this point, I was over Wrigley and her issues and was heartbroken for George. He wanted so bad to just love Wrigley and be with his son 24/7, but here comes Wrigley's family and more misunderstandings getting in their way. It was great to see them finally overcome their obstacles and talk out their problems, but in my opinion we all know whose fault it was (80% for sure).

I'm looking at you Wrigley

I would definitely recommend it. You're gonna laugh, groan, wince, smack your teeth, smile - you'll do it all.

Tobias knows that women are a lot of trouble, and one in particular is more trouble than most. Yet even with the knowledge that she’s a pain in the ass, he doesn’t stop himself from doing the one thing he knows that he shouldn’t do—fall in love with her.
It’s supposed to be simple. Get in, get the girl, and get out.
What Tobias isn’t supposed to do is fall for the woman he’s supposed to rescue. But he can’t help being intrigued–and amused–by the defiance rolling off Audrey every time he so much as speaks to her. This fascination only intensifies with every single word from her delectable mouth.
***
It’s been six years since her assault, yet it feels like it happened just yesterday. Audrey’s sick and tired of feeling so useless. She’s had enough of being scared, she’s doesn’t want to be all alone for the rest of her life. All of that boils down to a woman who’s had enough of not doing anything to reclaim her life.
She’s at a loss as to how to move on, and every attempt she makes results in failure. Just when she’s ready to quit, a sexy biker is there to push her out of her comfort zone.
Under Tobias’ patient guidance, Audrey slowly makes her way back to herself. She lands a job that she adores, and she thinks she’s finally found her place in this world. Most surprisingly, though, she finds herself falling in love with a man that honestly scares her to death.
Just when she vows to take that final step that’ll put her past in her past forever, the life she wants to live is yanked away. Leaving her with nothing to pick up the pieces.

I can honestly say this is the funniest most heart snatching book released by Lani Lynn Vale that I have had the privilege to read. (And I've read every single one of her books)

Tobias and Audrey, we were introduced to in Ghost's book Beard Up. As per usual, I am suggesting that you have read all of the previous books in the series before beginning this one. Characters, themes, events and emotions will make much more sense if you have.

The book begins with Tobias (Fender) coming to grips with his feelings for his friend and fellow MC club member's sister Audrey. He was sent to collect and move her closer to her brother Ghost (aka Tunnel) in the previous book. Audrey has been existing on a thread ever since her assault. Now she is living in a new city with her long lost brother (sorry for the spoiler), but is still hiding. Here enters Tobias. He pushes her to experience new things, but all of these things are with him. The two even go on a police cruise together.

HOT HOT HOT!
If you've read the previous book then you know who the Shaw's are in relation to Tobias's family the Hails. LLV does an amazing job of having two storylines going at the same time. Events from his life and events from Audrey's life make them a match made in Heaven. He can sympathize and better deal with what she is experiencing because something similar occurred in his family. These events don't stop the two from building a friendship that matures into more. Their friendship and their romantic relationship are so stirring to read. He 'fixes' her and she 'fixes' him.

Throw in some humor, some sweaty intense (and sometimes not so private) sex and you have a winner. I made it thru this ARC in a day and I wasn't sad about it at all. Great read!
